India – Television Population Control
Health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad recently shared his ideas about how to prevent a high birth rate in India. The major idea is to lower the urge to have sex. This, he says, can be achieved by giving the people something else to do.
And what do people like to do every day inĀ electrified countries / areas of the world? What is the light source that emits a glimmering light in every second room when you walk through the city at the evening and make people stare into one direction as if they had a vision or a religious visitation?

Right, the TV!
Because TVs need power, Ghulam Nabi Azad suggests, to electrify whole India quickly. People are often bored in the evening and start to have sex. This behaviour would change if more people had TVs. So he says.
