Appendix: Paintball Not Forbidden In Germany

Last month, I wrote about the plan of Germany’s government to forbid paintball. This was supposed to be an action in order to prevent further killing sprees, like the ones that happened in Winnenden, Germany or Colombine Highschool, USA.

I received an email today and was informed, that this plan eventually failed. The measurements of the German government to prevent further killing sprees are however still ridiculous. Basically they wanted to please the populace which demands actions to be taken and not wanted to treat the feet of the weapon lobby at the same time. So basically the actions taken are nothing but hot air. As so often in the world of politics.

One interesting side note: The weapon lobby suggested to forbid first person shooter computer games. My journalistic comment: Fuck you, you false assholes.
